Alexandra van Nispen | Crafthouse Store Nieuw Kijkduin Colours and their combination have always captivated Alexandra van Nispen for as long as she remembers. "Colour sets off a mood and combining them often has a subliminal effect on me, bringing back the sounds, sights and feel of places I have visited" she tells. In decoupage Alexandra has found her creative outlet where she can capture the colours and shapes which she finds behind her eyes where flora and fauna fantasy can be taken out of its original context and placed in a new one.

Decoupage (french term for cutting out) refers to the art of decorating something with cut-out paper over which varnish is applied.

Alexandra van Nispen is featured in Residence magazine.
